Every feature we build starts with one question: does this make preparation clearer and more useful? We want candidates to move from uncertainty into deliberate practice.
MockAura was created to solve a problem: exam preparation pages and products often feel generic, broad, and disconnected from the actual decisions candidates need to make next.
Most exam preparation platforms were built over a decade ago. They have clunky interfaces, outdated question banks, and weak guidance about what you actually need to study. Candidates waste hours reviewing topics they already know while their real weak areas go unaddressed.
MockAura was born from a simple insight: exam prep works better when the product, page intent, and next action all match. We started by building around realistic simulation, clearer review paths, and tighter internal links into the content candidates actually need.
We started with the NMC CBT — the computer-based test that internationally educated nurses must pass to practice in the UK. It is a high-intent, high-stakes exam with a clear real-world outcome, which makes it the right place for MockAura to build authority before expanding further.

We use product design, analytics, and realistic simulation to make the next study step easier to choose and the mock-exam workflow easier to trust.
MockAura is being shaped first around internationally educated nurses preparing for the NMC CBT, then expanded outward from that clearer foundation.
